Connections to the device function unreliable - even if the system has coupled the device clean - that just seems to be a bug in the software.
- The operation and menu navigation are sluggish, slow and unreliable.
- While the app looks "relatively nice" - but affected in total very dusty and as at a level of 2 years ago.
It is part of example 5 minutes busy (despite procedure according manual) so that the app is ready times to connect and display values.
Furthermore, individual components on the iPad are not displayed correctly.
In sum, the APP leaves - and thus the scale advertises yes as feature a very bad impression.
Tested with iOS 4 and iOS5 on iPad, iPhone 4 and iPhone4s.
Something is not sustainable in the price for my taste.

Update April 2013:
Meanwhile there have been many software updates.
The software for iPhone and iPad has become slightly better - but still not exactly on the cutting edge.
+ The coupling has become more reliable.
+ The GUI on the scales was significantly improved by firmware updates. The balance is now also no more usable smartphone and reacts more quickly and usefully
After the update, you can use the product much better.
As is apparently responding to criticism and progresses the development, the balance is now at least reasonably usable. The app is not yet good, but much better than before.
Got my vote, therefore, revised upwards from 2 to 3 stars.
