Positives:
+ Setting: Huge, open game world.
+ Graphics: As with the predecessors of the eye.
+ Soundtrack: Again beautiful tracks, were the best pieces of AC 2 adopted.
+ Story: Filmreif! Equally exciting and complex.
+ Story Development: captivating, with great depth and compared to the previous higher complexity through a variety of missions and different guilds with appropriate contracts and sources of income that the player must tap only.
+ Fun: In the single player mode more engaging than AC 2, a multiplayer mode was installed.
Negatives:
- Without "Assassin's Creed 2" -Knowledge difficult to understand.
- The game is eventually to end ...
"Assassin's Creed 2" was a nearly perfect game. Ubisoft has however, managed to beat the brilliant predecessor again. Below I will carry out the above-mentioned points shortly closer:
I think that one is at that time already met with "Assassin's Creed 2" to the limits of graphical capabilities of the Xbox 360. Consequently, one can not be disappointed if the graphics as well as presented in Part 2: Breathtaking, atmospheric and beautiful! Graphic error? The present, however, clearly negligible. The precious graphic is rounded off by a very atmospheric and again in every situation perfectly fitting soundtrack.
Edel graphics! Precious Soundtrack! What is missing is a precious story. And, yes, that is offered to the player. Each Quest blends as a logical component in the story, which thus acts as a unified whole. Many main and side quests can be solved but always the common thread remains recognizable. For solved very well, I think the idea with the profiles, heralds and guilds that are only in the course of the game is important. An equally good idea is that the businesses that need to be renovated or built up in order to use them can. The player never has the feeling that these things need to be at certain points easily activated to increase the complexity. All elements gain rather a result of the story development important and add the fact harmoniously into history. So gradually increases the complexity, without the player the feeling of being driven from the game in a certain direction, even though he might hold a different route more appropriate.
For important I think for the sake of authenticity also means that you as a player really has the feeling to move in a largely freely accessible world. How it does not do this, Bethesda recently with "Fallout: New Vegas" proved. Here the player will be fooled, he was in an open world. Often, however, a seemingly walk path not trodden. Unfortunately you can feel again and again how the programmer or the software "Stop!" calls that disrupts the flow of the game, not feels authentic and is demotivating. "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood" acts freely accessible, but it is just as wrong. But what makes Ubisoft better than Konnkurrenz? They signaled to the players by plausible obstacles clear wehalb it no longer continues to determine a location.
Overall conclusion:
Both "Fallout: New Vegas" and "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood" are confronted with the accusation of being only an overlong add-on to its predecessor. "Fallout: New Vegas" will have to live with this allegation because has changed compared to its predecessor too little and also the small and big criticisms have been remedied. Retrieved from "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood", which continues the very interesting story of its predecessor exciting, but could on my account on the due level like numerous add-ons appear.
I am at that time often sat in "Assassin's Creed 2" with his mouth open and astonished eyes watching television. Actually, I was thinking that "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood" would not be able provide a similar astonishment. But far from it! The game has been changed in many places, while never verschlimmbessert. Each change makes sense and improves anyway almost perfect predecessor at crucial points.
For me the best game I've ever played!
Supplement on 29/12/2010:
I have now played the multiplayer and I'm thrilled! Far from the usual death-matches. No wild Herumgeballere but sneak, hide and assassinate simultaneously. It is simultaneously hunter and the hunted and only collect a lot of points when you act from the secret out. This is certainly not for the Halo Group, but means pure excitement. Currently however, there are some still very long waits before starting a multiplayer round ... which provides so many waiting frustration.
