Anyone (like me) one of those people who do not particularly like to be the need to install additional software DRM for each game be as so often mentioned unenthusiastic. In addition to Steam still Uplay is mandatory. In order to run for Rocksmith alone before a two different systems DRM, although just as good everything would practice Steam alone can be solved. However, there is no forced online. At the front, there's all clear.
In the game itself you will be reminded every now from buying please more DLCs. Some DLC songs that are available for purchase are then already in the song list, and are just as locked until they have put money on it on the table. Does not feel so particularly well if you have already paid for the game, I think. As an extra menu - to show from out of me, but in my song list, what I have is not with me rather an impertinence.
Last but lot least, was indeed hingewisen repeatedly that you can import the songs from Rocksmith, if you own the DVD (or a Steam-purchase). In publishing a download tool was made available for this purpose. However, at a price of 9.99 EUR in addition. The reason for this can be assumed by license fees. Personally, I still think: Had just the main game cost even 5 more, that would be not so much fallen further consequence. However, Ubi would then be able to say generously: "We offer the import of natural order otherwise".
Especially shame all these disadvantages but on the following: The game is a real, meilweite improvement over Rocksmith 1!
* First and foremost has been improved at the disturbing latency. On my PC (16 GB RAM, 6 cores AMD 3.2GHz - the same computer on which also runs Rockmith 1) falls, the delay in the 2014 Edition of really noticeably lower. So far even that it no longer bothers me when playing. And the like without any home tinkering with splitter boxes or.
* The game itself has become much stronger towards SNMP's educational software. There are no scores in the sense more (except for Guitarcade games). A percentage bar indicates how close you are playing the song on the entire complexity and how good you are in it.
* The songs have a wider range than in the previous version (incl. Pantera, White Zombie, Deftones and Avenged Sevenfold for tougher fraction ;-)
* One can the Reef coach finally startetn directly from the song out and jump back directly into the song back - also can determine how many riffs to be practiced in a row. A limitation of repetitions is also no longer present (thank God). From the RiffRepetitor can directly jump back into the actual song also again.
* The guitarcade games are all available right from the start and do not have to be unlocked nuisance
* The lessons for new techniques are based ausfühlicher and better. In practice one has no longer the problem that it once a reef plays just okay-ish and then dismissed as "good" back into the game. No - now is practiced until it fits.
* One can finally decide for the entire game, if you want to play lead or Rythmguitar (or bass). That will no longer be arbitrarily decided in a song-to-song basis.
* In addition, a lot of improvements are included, which are beyond the scope of individual but which become generally very positive in the game flow noticeable. Especially in the menu structure and the logical structure has been significantly improved.
So in short: the game itself is totally worth its price, in my view (practiced guitar beginners). It makes a lot more fun than the previous version and you can tell really that the team has put a lot of work in the Verbessserungen.
Unfortunately, just all the disadvantages of Ubisoft remain. And even if you can live safely with all the problems that do not really have anything directly to do with all the gaming experience ... it is initially a genuinely bitter aftertaste. I can understand well, if people do not buy the game, therefore, even if it is a pity. Rocksmith 2014 namely a genuine improvement and a really good product. Especially for beginners and casual players who want to improve your guitar skills but rather train an autodidact.
