What has prompted the band that I consider as a real insider tip when it comes to Southern and roots-rock to bring out such a live album? I dont know! -After Two studio albums is enough good, especially hot-boiling own material had actually accumulated in order to fill a real live Kracher. Why Fans and friends of the band with so ollen Kamellen like 'Look Way Down That Lonesome Road', the medium while some overused 'Baby, Please Do not Go' or Dixons 'Do the do' (although class instrumented) have to deal, God knows. I'd herumkriteln nich if these songs would have been turned and fired a broadside at pressive Groove neatly through the Slide-Wolf (a la John Campbell). But the stakes rippling partially there, as they had been recorded for the weary society a x-any bar. Where are the aggressive Slide's where the fiery riffs of fat groove and the driving rhythm? Do not get me wrong, this CD is not bad, but compared to Delta Moon Studio albums I miss here just the necessary Drive. Of course, a couple of excellent titles should be recorded: 'Tilt-A-Whirl' is great. 'Somebody's been using that thing' and 'Edna Mae' are two real up-tempo bone shaker (here at last I made a few forward!); but the best comes Winters 'Mean Town Blues'! Since it is then almost too late, because that's sort of the 'bouncers'. But rather too late than not at all, because finally there's also a couple of times right Slide duels and especially is sometimes the heat of the South to feel ...
Conclusion: Overall, Delta Moon delivers a very nice live album. But 'Nice' is well known, the little sister of 'Schei * e' ... ... And there is then also the hook. From a band with the potential as Delta Moon have no doubt, I expect as a live act a real slide fireworks and no background music for the afternoon Bible study. So; Restitution is the word: The next live recording is time carved right on the bell, as befits a proper Southern and Roots rock band! -I Know that you can do it !!
