Customer Review

Here are some good and very useful objective reviews have already been published, so I do not want to closely analyze the album, but only briefly known my purely subjective opinion here.
Coldplay make beautiful music that accompanied me for years. Each of the albums I've heard dozens of times and never is my music boring. I always discover new details, tones, sounds.
In my opinion, the best thing is (not necessarily the best) album, the first, namely Parachutes. Because Coldplay here take the quiet, gentle tones and thus economical, but very skillfully deal. Coldplay understand it, thus enabling it to use sounds, instruments, melodies and the voice of Chris Martin, that the music stirs the audience, arouses emotions in him.
A song by Coldplay can make you happy. The same song may however cause largest funeral a few days later.
That's what I love about Coldplay so. The band knows how to make music so that the listener can discover something of themselves in it.
So it goes at least to me.
This they create on their third album and live the band touched me in the depths of my heart with the album "X & Y".
However, Coldplay have unfortunately become a bit too commercial for my taste. This distinguishes the music in some ways, because Coldplay now propose is no longer only the very special sounds that make them, as an alternative band, but also those that appeal to the masses rather.
Coldplay are not "worse" become, but they have changed. The music was formerly full of melancholy, sadness and thoughtfulness. Now she is full of energy, strength, optimism. Of course, the previous elements are listed, but they no longer play the leading role.
Coldplay drew inspiration for this album from popular and highly acclaimed artists. Not least because this album is beautiful and cute but like the old days. For me personally, but it was the alternative, sad melodies that were the band even better, even if "X & Y" is art again, art in the sense of music, and they must be viewed from all sides.
I can definitely Coldplay with this change as much abgewinnen as before, but I would be delighted to hear again in the future after the announced pause songs rather sound like "See you soon" or "Trouble".
