The Esprit de Sarrail is a very dry wine. And one of the variety that best enjoyed just for eating. A wine that can withstand a hearty meal, and also very good with some cheese fits. He is quite tart, therefore, even if it smells fruity. Its aromas unfold this wine immediately. He takes his time, and is restrained when it comes to his berry like aroma. Of all the three varieties the one that can be described as very harsh.
The Château Amandier is the most pleasing of the three wines for me. It tastes really strong after fruit. For me there is very clearly a cherry flavor out. And this wine is still missing a bit of dry character, in my opinion. He is in no moment herb, or dry, as the representatives of Süßweinfraktion would say. The wine, which is by all three of Massenkompatibelste.
My favorite, however, is the Ventoux. The surprised me very much, and here it is not only the name of the wine, which knows how to convince. It is a mixture of the two previous wines. And of the two, he has as it were the best. It tastes pleasantly tart and yet there is always the hint of berries, which come through. But not so superficial as the Amandier. It keeps the balance, the aromas evolve slowly. The first sip seems quite dry, but then he starts to play off its strengths. A wine that can be perfectly serve with the meal. He can withstand such a lot, and here I can imagine very well that it fits to the wild. But as you can also just so enjoy a glass. For its fruity aroma is enough. A wine you should not forget this, not least because you can feel the sun of southern France on the tongue here.
Throughout considered this wine package is worth full marks and an recommendation. Can not fault it and the selection of these three wines is excellent. Especially since for every taste there is something. I highly recommend these wines. And there are occasions in the coming weeks plenty to taste it and drink.
