Motivating and well in offline multiplayer

This game has been the first PS3 game, because we have it in coacquired PS3 purchase directly. The reason was simple: I had been looking for a racing game that will be fun and offline in splitscreen. In this research, I had come across Blur. Since me the game concept has also addressed (Mario Kart I loved), we chose to just blur. We are both so PS3 newbies.
We did not regret to have chosen Blur. My friend is still playing every day this game (for several weeks), though he absolutely no "gamer guy" is. For him, the entry was therefore more difficult: it took a while until he could keep the powerups apart and use it properly. (He was / is really very inexperienced, which PC and other Games concerns. The PS3 is our first console). He found it - in spite of the few necessary buttons - sometimes hard to press the correct key at the right moment. (Probably the problems for each are not comprehensible ;-) ...) He also felt the routes partly as very confusing (many lights, high speed, confusing opponents).

I rather "intuitive" Bypass with games, I was able to incorporate much faster and had the rotation after 1 hour acclimatization period out. Then it really begins to make fun of:
One should collect lights and fans and meet the Event opponent tasks. Okay, the simple lights (3 min, better 5)) are collected quickly (since everything is "lights depending on", you can for example go to the endEvent opponents, without previously unlocked all other event opponents have). The requirements of the "Event" -Gegner partly demanding and call for targeted action. With races are really easy to earn 5 lights are difficult because of control and destruction events. ... Although I have the endEvent opponents now defeated, I feel nevertheless still an incentive to return to earlier tracks and try to get more lights and / or more fans. It's really motivating.

There are many trophies, which are more or less easy to earn. For each event opponents obtained a silver trophy, which depends on the level of difficulty (ie on "Easy" to earn even is) is not. There are also numerous combi Trophies, whose sub-goals are highly variable (eg Hit 50 powerups with the flash, Repair xxx energy beams, holding on in Brighton and look at the fireworks). Some trophies can be earned but only online. Disproportionate I find the trophy to play a game in the 4-split screen. For Online Mode: The introduction level is good (driving school), you have real chances to win and somehow feel quite good to drive (because all are equally inexperienced).
Once you have the left behind, it appears that you have to drive quite cleverly to have opportunities. In Blur also always heard a good amount of luck and strategy to clear. But I find it hard now, among all the Level-50 and Level 30+ opponents in the top five to come. Because I think the fans and car / Modfreischaltungen obtained, not motivating enough. (That one is not equal to one of tip is of course normal. There are all professionals ...)
Apropos online: The Füllzahl the server is of course dependent on the daily and weekly. During the day, play perhaps 300, from 18 clock well over 500. A server can be found almost always. Oh yes: It makes the split screen a lot of fun. Negatives:

- In splitscreen mode, you can only join as a guest, not as a player with the second / third / fourth profile on the PS3
- Difficulty of checkpoint races sometimes disproportionately high

In spite of the long-term motivation for a racing game is very large. Since the "Shooting around" really fun, I give 5 stars.
