After several years of using an Office 2007 Home & Student 3-pack license I acquired in December 2012, a new 3-pack license the 2010 version. The original plan was to skip the 2010 version. I treated myself to a new computer, but already I bought the 2010 version with 3pc / 1User license due to the advertising promise "Now Office 2010 or Office for Mac 2011 Buy and get the new Office 2013/365 free".
This I did, unfortunately, in the expectation that the 3pc / 1User licenses are maintained. The free upgrade to Office 2013 worked on my first computer also wonderful. When 2.Rechner ended up closing because MS has the tradition of 3pc / 1User license given secretly.
In part I now am annoyed at myself, because in my case, too, the old adage is true, "Anyone who can read is a clear advantage." But as I said, I am and what it looks like other people of the power of tradition or habit aufgesessen. And frankly I would have expected from MS and Amazon at this point more transparency.
In short, who is in his household has two or three computers, and from having to write what or to calculate and want to spend money, should consider buying the 2010 version into account.
In my case, I'm back to the 2010 version, since I am no longer as willing to spend 100 EUR 1 and 2 on the three computers in our budget to run the same version. Because of this, I am sorry that I can not write anything to operation and function of the current product.
I wanted to return the product. This is unfortunately not possible for downloads.
My promise to Microsoft is that this thorn of experience runs deep.
