Already have forever fought with my Bialetti Venus. She hissed when cooking out of the valve and the thread. No pressure, and therefore correspondingly mild espresso. Hatt resigned myself already so until I read the other recessions that have the same problem. For me it was the lower screen that was not covered properly and thus could escape pressure. I now have another inserted in addition to the existing rubber, firmly screwed together and lo and behold I had really oily really delicious espresso, without any steam / pressure loss through leaks ...
For me the espresso pot hats saved your könnst like to try whether it can fix your problems with leakage, but of course at your own risk if it does not work so perfectly with you as with me.
