We tested both Kids Cams. The pink / pink for girls (3) and the Idena 6402341 - Kids Cam digital camera with integrated lens, blue for boys (5). Although the color corresponds very cliché for girls and boys, but the way it is. (No, there was a very brief discussion about who for now can have the pink - but it was agreed quickly!)
The Kids Cam has an incredible number of features. I have considered briefly whether there are perhaps too many. In my opinion, children's toys should be as pure and minimalist. Regarding the scope, the Kids Cam really leaves nothing to be desired. Photos (! Clear), video, zoom, flash, adjustable lens, TV connector, SD slot and even games - and more. Amazingly, came my 5-year-old son with the action after a short time completely cope. The 3-year-old daughter took a little longer, and then limited to the "simple" functions, the basic function of Kamara is anyway the most important thing - to take pictures!
The digital camera is great in the hand, the trigger is on the hands of children and easily accessible when needed, ie immediately after use with children smeared hands, the Cam can easily wipe off and keep clean. Prima.
The best thing about the Kids Cam is the 180-degree adjustable lens. Photos (2 megapixel) are okay, the 128 MB memory capacity sufficient for 1,200 photos that are a whole lot !! However, the Spreicher is a bit meager in Videoaunahmen, here is after 5 minutes final. The display I find a bit small, the children's enough. Otherwise it probably would not have even housed the many features on the back of the Kids Cam.
Only the games function (7 pieces) of Kids Cam I find more than unnecessary. But I think gaming consoles, smartphones are possibly responsible, a camera, especially one for children, should be to take pictures there. Videopspiele draw but very much on the basic function. Okay, the games are on it and be at least estend availed by the children as much as the photo functions itself. The photo editing is fun, here you have younger children but definitely help. The automatic shutdown feature is very useful because the children forget turning off by itself often.
Overall, Kids Cam is a great digital camera for kids who brings a lot of fun and makes for some funny situations in everyday life. With this product, confirmed to me that it may not always be costly brand name goods from renowned toy manufacturer. All in all - highly recommended!
