Before release of the new album more songs were already known in advance so you could make, had to wait a very long time that fans a taste of "Matangi". This first impression was already very positive and now after passing through listening to the complete album I can be a great fan MIA say that this is probably my favorite album of MIA. This does not mean that I like less the previous albums, but I like the sound and the atmosphere at "Matangi" best so far. There are very chilige as well as very energetic title. It is precisely this contradictory combination I really like. Although the album again sounds much more daring and experimental than its predecessor "Maya", it is very pleasant to hear, because many oriental-Indian sounds are integrated into the songs. As in any MIA album so far, there is also in this 2 somewhat weaker songs that do not determine for myself but the overall impression of the album. The highlights are definitely Matangi, Bad Girls and YALA a shame that it is no longer creative musicians like MIA are to compensate for the boring mainstream pop a la Lady Gaga and Co.
