Initially unenthusiastic, now my favorite album of Tarja

As my better half Finnish and absolute Tarja fan is, the Box Set of Tarja's new album was of course at the publication date with us at home, but again thanks to Amazon. My sweetheart took the CD from the beginning absolute class, while in my first time came disillusionment. That was quite clear as nice and classify well done, but somehow sat down with me no song permanently in memory.

My problem with Tarja`s solo albums until now, that always were indeed good songs on the albums, but you could hear it more than clear that several different songwriters for Tarja were at work. Thus bs could now not really a consistently high quality to ensure the songwriting and everything sounded stilitisch somehow colorful thrown together on. Next big issue that Tarja still holds the US nu-metal Schrammel guitar style of Alex Scholpp. The man relieves listening clearly, instead should be added Schrammeln before the guy even now and again play a solo or learn melodic riffing, which he can do better shows he regularly in the live shows of Tarja. Well, enough bitching.

By constant noise of Colours in the Dark by my better half (car, apartment, ....) I was however forced, but very often to hear the new album and sit more closely with him apart. Lo and behold, after a few Hörgängen but hooked the first song in my ear canals fixed (500 Letters, Mystic Voyage & Medusa). Granted, Tarja sings still like a goddess, one can not escape a closer listen to your voice. In the next Hördurchläufen be disclosed next musical pearls and suddenly I liked the album consistently and even the mention of Alex Gitarrengeschrammel Scholpp adheres to this album within tolerable limits. Tarja has already clearly can catapult as former singer of Nightwish with the previous album from the shadows and now they manage to provide completely alone great cinema. So the album from run to run blossomed and eventually got my treasure grinning in the living room and asked what had happened here because that suddenly runs on heavy rotation in spite of my initial Gemeckers Colours in the Dark. As fast kanns go. And now it is my favorite soagr solo album of Tarja. You get it barely get out of the player. Therefore, one should listen to the album as possible not just once, you risk running anything else really to miss big.

For box itself, it is a nice booklet and a great shirt here and the CD as a great digipack here, so it all fits. Only one thing remains wistfully determine namely the realization the Colours in the Dark insgaesamt my opinion much too short :( One or two more songs would not have done here and certainly hurt the fans very happy.

As a conclusion I must mention briefly the Tarja concert last week from Cologne Gloria, where the fans totally freaked out by German standards sind.Es gave massive Tarja chants between and during songs and the fans have partially sung melodies and what significant is - especially the new songs were clearly celebrated because the young lady has probably done everything right. Woroauf I want out, Colours in the Dark - both the album and the tour not to be missed. Really great. Kiitos Tarja!
