Tarja has the recorded concert as chosen because vocal Patzer I have until now never able to discover, on the contrary, that night she is vocally ideal plan, the highest heights she grabs playing and the difficult tones are held partly longer than on the studio albums which is in the nature of truly sing an art.
The setlist is good and a bit of everything. Only on Nemo I could have done without the benefit of one or more very old Nightwish songs. The songs that were presented this evening, have even been re-arranged for the most part something and sound so even fatter and come across well live really scary.
Properly annoyed me that Ciaran`s Well still shows up in the live setlist of songs for all their love for music and voice Tarja`s just terrible. Furthermore is a pity that was indeed taken over the male vocals of aggressive male voice of on the studio version of the All That Remanis singer Phil at DarkStar, live not there is :( The Pops Song Oasis do not like it in the version of this Live CD and, all the magic of the play flutes goes somehow, it did not work.
Where Tarja has however convinced me, is in the live version of Whitesnake Cover Songs Still of the Night, the studio version on What Lies Beneath left me scared and confused during the live version of Act 1 just rocking like hell and totally cool over kann`s go comes, so;)
Furthermore, I live still lacks her brother Toni Turunen who took on a few tours with Tarja old male counterparts in Tarja`a songs and made this class so that Marco Hietala in comparison to sounds in Phantom of the Opera right grottig contrast , Your brother should mitnhehmen to future live concerts necessarily again, just like their 'old' keyboard player Maria, who was also their first Tarja solo performances here, she harmonizes incredibly well in the backing vocals with Tarja. I can not remember a concert of Tarja in Frankfurt in a church shortly after their expulsion in northwest, as at a concert of Tarja in Cologne in Delain as support band took part. On both nights me and my girlfriend is the joy of playing and the great vocal harmony of Maria with Tarja more than just noticed. So dear Tarja - for future live concerts please re brother and bring the old keyboard player.
Back to CD / DVD. It is this absolute buy recommendation, better can it musically and vocally hardly do, despite some criticisms, which I have enumerated above.
Absolute crap by Tarja, your label & Pledge:
Act1 Mediabook Edition (2CD + 3DVD Special Edition)
Now some might ask, what is this? A few months before Act1 was ever published, you could join on Pledge and secure rare and exclusive things in advance, which should then not be available later for the great generality of the buyer. One could advance from a number of rare items for which the price was set, register, the sum needed to pay in advance and if enough people join this action is the whole state or everything is blown off and there's the money. I had registered myself there after was also advertised by Tarja it. I had the Act1 Mediabook me (Limited version with 2CD`s and 3 DVDs - including a concert that should give it anywhere else, only in this edition + 80 pages book) secured.
So far so good. Join, then the 50 paid for the Mediabook. But first noted that arrives this Collector's Edition a little later than the regular version with me, but I already have advance for access to downloads.
Then the chaos began. Constantly came on Pledge and Tarja`s side always new announcements, the delivery is delaying due such and such reasons. The guaranteed Downloads have not first and then work poorly. To this day I'm still waiting for my long prepaid Mediabook Edition, and when Tarja's official page Faebook look at, it's many other well.
It comes but still thick. A few days ago it tinkles on my smartphone and I got an update of Pledge Music. The content, the delivery is delayed further and will also regrets that there is the Media Book, which should be to get only exclusively on pre-supposed, but now easy to buy in different shops then ... And lo and behold, in the Amazon Mediabook for 36 to buy.
I summarize :
1) The goods will not come.
2.) Warranted Downloads do not and still does not as promised.
3.) My so-called Exclusive version I buy overpriced advance about Tarja & Pledge Music just to get it for almost 15 less be able to buy through Amazon.
4) In the meantime, I've even bought the 2CD version of Act 1, so my girlfriend's music has finally. So double rip-off.
5.) As I said - my Mediabook is still not there.
This is kind of bad and feel rude, can not beat it. I'm not even sure if Tarja has been informed of the full extent of these miserable rip-off and the poor service. Surely they can not help it, in spite of everything, at the end of the day her name on the product, which I bought for a lot of money, but still can not obtain, so you should leave such special actions in your best interest if you do not has fully under their own control. Honestly, I was and am about this matter so pissed that has not have taken much and I had not heard Tarja, but that should have no effect on the product itself, therefore still stand as a 5 Star rating about it.
