The weakest MAIDEN Live Album

The weakest MAIDEN Live Album

A Real Live Dead One (Audio CD)

Customer Review

"A Real Live Dead One" was published in 1994 originally as two single CD's: the first was "A Real Live One" released, which is stocked with songs from "7th Son ..." to "Fear Of The Dark" while the later later 'A Real Dead One "exclusively contains songs from the albums before. That's about the dilemma: the division of the two CD's in old and new songs is "A Real Dead One", which really involves only old hat, pretty uninteresting of the songs here.

"A Real Live One" is most interesting of the song compilation and has title at the start that you have never heard live more like 'Be Quick Or Be Dead' or 'Afraid To Shoot Strangers'. However, here reveals the second dilemma: the CD's do not represent the recording of one or two concerts, but are a collection of diverse denomination appearances. That would in itself is not so bad, but the sound missed "A Real Live Dead One" finally the stab: the singing is bad; Bruce Dickinson was about to exit in vocally bad shape, and the mix sounds as if the instruments had been individually incorporated in the living room and then pieced together. It lacks any space and the guitars completely anemic.

A pity; weakest live album of MAIDEN. But luckily there are plenty of MAIDEN so better to choose
