I appreciate Zemmour. I had never read anything by him. Waiting to buy the famous "French Suicide" in pocket format that should be out in a year, so I pulled over his previous book. It is a story of France since Napoleon wholesale. Zemmour made France a nation of imperial destiny, a kind of France that should have replaced the dream of European Roman empire. We're not necessarily agree. Others will say that France has rather always resisted empires and its expansion episodes are not in its main feature. In short, to discuss, anyway it is written, we feel that Zemmour has a great culture of the history of France, I would even say that this is a book that will make sense for historians or amateur history buffs. Without it, we lose a lot because we do not fully captures the author of shortcuts, it exposes the key ideas over a given period. Anyway it is a historical essay Interesting and informative by a lover of France.
