My impression of the first own HTC!

I am not one of those people who strictly bite into a cell phone brand, I convince myself prefer myself of new equipment and try out many different brands, including the new HTC One M8 in color Amber Gold. I use currently an iPhone 5 and Samsung have my Grade 3 exchanged through the new HTC because I have disrupted the Grade 3 some things.

The cell phone radiates the buyer at first. Beneath this is then a case which is supplied by HTC, very exemplary in my opinion. Everything is packed in plastic sheets. Then there are the headphones, which feature a very nice design, a USB cable and the adapter for the power outlet in the package. I repeatedly read from the one or the other, that any gaps would not be right here, this I can not share. The device feels very valuable and is very good despite the size in your hand! I like the design of the HTC ONE M8 very good. Since I am so not the techie, I'll tell you my first experience with the device in a nutshell.

1) Getting Started - Configuration / Back up Create:

This is my first HTC phone and I was able to find very many positive things for me. If the buyer his device starts for the first time and configure each user knows the typical problems: Blank mobile phone - no apps, no contacts, no calendar entries ..
As with Apple, the user can upload his last backup from his cell phone and sparrt so long looking for his apps in the store. But what I find here is very startling that the user can also load a backup from an Apple mobile phone! A great idea in my opinion. If you do not want to invite all the previous BackUp, the user can pick and choose which data they want to have (pictures, contacts, calendar ..)!

2.) display - sharp:

About the display is so much discussion in this device, since a bar is located below the display, which has no use and contains an inscription with "HTC". How do I find one would of course totally can do without it and this area can still be used as part of the display!
Otherwise, the users are offered very nice colors, which look terrific in the high-resolution display and of course games like "Modern Combat 4" is the performance of the display properly to fruition. This is definitely the best supplied headphones with a cell phone, which I've used!
The two speakers to the unit are very noisy and have a very strong sound, even at full volume is no crackle into existence!

7.) camera - but not as bad as other users report ..:?

The camera equipment with this unit again in focus, you should be very large but has only four megapixels ..
I can only say that the camera could bring me so far very beautiful image, which, of course, look sharp on the phone! I have at home including the Horizon box Unitymedia and a Bose Lifestyle T20, these have can be combined well with the TV app from the HTC One. Here the user is allowed to control all device with the phone! When configuring the user can select his favorite channel, then the series he / she looks like and within a short time, the configuration has been successfully completed. It is as good as any device recognized and if not, you can configure the remote manually.
If you use the app, you currently running films are proposed or series when they click on, the TV switches immediately then. The favorite series of them will you also appear! Strangely, I had to find here the first time that my mobile Internet has not worked. I had used the phone in wireless mode all the time, so I is not even noticed. If other should have the same problem I want to quickly improve the situation:

3.) APN: This term stands for Access Point Name, it means the data transfer of GPRS and UMTS

2.) Addendum 05.28.2014 topic - listening to music and EQ:

After several hours of listening to music, which probably can already call in days, I want to again give a brief summary with regard to the sound quality and the oft "Equalizer" from HTC.
The offered boom sound of HTC which is offered as the only EQ setting is me personally too bassy. I can only recommend every user to abide by the volume guidelines of HTC. I had after about two hours very loud to hear extreme problems with my ears, a very strong whistle has been with me all day!
Unfortunately, I find it very unfortunate that the user no opportunity is offered through an EQ to configure itself to sound just as one sees fit. While this may over other apps from the PlayStore work but about the basic settings not.
Also I noticed when speaking of an artist has several albums, they are always sorted alphabetically, the user is offered no other way!

3.) Supplement 08.06.2014 topic - battery power, sun makes it difficult to read the display!

After several charge cycles, I just wanted to again report short report.

I use it now since the purchase of the mobile phone and have previously always been very satisfied. Now the cover, which protects the lower terminals makes (charge and AUX) a finish. You slip permanently from the two terminals out and the protection afforded to these ports is no longer guaranteed, thus enters dust!
