Natural sound with long-term enjoyment!

Due to the generally excellent reviews and reviews on the Edifier LS systems I hear about this product. If a manufactured product in China such good sound for (then) can produce relatively small price? So far I had there rather doubt - but I was proved wrong!

Already when unpacking came to great joy: very carefully packed, with all necessary accessories (even an optical cable is) I was surprised at first about the feel of the parts.
The Sub (demagnetized, which is not always the case) is particularly large and heavy, the satellites are designed very classy and pretty in my opinion and are not really comparable to the cheap-looking plastic parts some other manufacturers. Her black grille shine a little and the tiny grain in gloss and matt black on the satellite housings made of sturdy material also looks extremely dibasic.
Similarly, the wired control unit with its multiple settings, quite large, dimmable display with clear and large font, easy and simple to use. Finally, the credit card-like remote control with the funnily two buttons for loud and soft, and the keys of other settings (connection type, Balance, Balance sub / satellite, ups and downs), also great to use and very handy.
Overall, the system does look and feel a whole excellent impression and looks original even better than in the photos. Then there are the possibilities of being able to play just connect analog and digital external devices here. Their direct selection happens slightly above one of the two controls.

Now we come to the aural impressions that as always (in this case, some listeners) only express my own listening preferences: Since I am PC like listening to music, I was looking for a system with natural sound as possible - and that I had of this impression the first Hörsekunde of these boxes: Despite the size of Subs no bloated bass (he answers nevertheless sustainably and beautifully dry, if necessary), crystal clear highs (very clearly, but not too narrow) and the centers are precisely where it in many systems is unfortunately missing - everything sounds balanced enormously. Voices heard at extremely authentic, no matter of course for PC boxes. Sonically positive overall unspectacular, nevertheless and perhaps because of very natural, clear and exceptionally intense listening pleasure with a great stage in the smallest of desk space. Even at a moderate volume dipping formally into the music. Will there be a loud, disturbing the - unlike many other systems - no, but increasingly enjoy more.

This impression continues when watching movies seamlessly continued and increases even when listening with the externally connected devices. Especially good CD players (for example, my Rega Planet, but also an ancient Phillips players) listen to quite outstanding on this system. Here, the analog connection leaves my feeling a bit more powerful sound impression, while the optical input sounds a bit more delicate. Both in nuances and very pleasant to enjoy both.

Of course, there will be even better PC boxes for a lot more money, however, I am extremely satisfied with the offered price / performance ratio and the sound quite excited. I am happy to give this five stars for exceptional quality and excellent audio products.
