Negative surprises.

"Football Gangster" (episode 63), "Football Fever" (123), "football case" (141), "Football Phantom" (153) and now even "soccer devil" (164). After more than 5 episodes of the Three Investigators, who bear the name "football -...", in my opinion, a negative image of the pairing of this country so popular sport and the no less popular three question marks is emerging. For at least the first five mentioned consequences include - not only my opinion but also according to the ratings of many customers here on Amazon - to the most inferior at all. "Soccer Devil" makes by my subjective evaluation no exception to the rule, although I had hoped for in the beginning based on the many positive reviews ... (Warning: Spoiler rating not entirely free !!!)

First, however, once the act which not so bad start: On the road in the woods find Justus, Peter and Bob not only a mysterious cave before, but also take on a frightening figure who resembles the true devil. Contrary Peters protest take the three to the rescue and fall into a new case ... So far so good. Although not top of takes your breath away, such as power in the episode "The Lost Pilot" (163), but at least a solid start in the case of wanting more. And indeed distinguished objectively from a positive picture: The speakers are good, sometimes very witty dialogues and interesting, plus there is then also the odd mystery and a puzzle may not be missing. Additionally Indians and a former football star to be stirred into the soup and in a thrilling final is it, then almost a tragic loss Peters. Free of personal preferences this series has succeeded because it has good and some offers.

Personally, I see it in a different light: Indians, devil, soccer ... everything is taken and mixed, so that at the end comes out an act that deals in the easiest way with a crime and carries the title soccer so that they do together also sold well yes! Besides the fact that the real action has nothing with the football hat, thrown in this episode as much as possible into the mix to give the feeling of depth of content to cause no boredom in the listener. The adequacy in the film would be the excessive sensationalism ... Although this excessive mixing topics, puzzles, locations holding almost still limited, it exaggerate other consequences in relation to this aspect excessively (eg "football case" what for ironic ...). "Quantity instead of quality" and only for the reason to sell as much as possible ...

Contrary to the apparently positive consensus on this episode here on Amazon, I can only hope that someone can understand my arguments and similar feel. And although there may be many listeners, especially the younger ones entertained, I hope for an end to the shameful number of football consequences. No buy recommendation.
