This book is excellent. Random to create my first organic vegetable garden I am absolutely charmed by this 2011 edition Ulmer. The square technique ensures maximum performance on minimum space with several varieties. Many tips are given and culture focuses on organic, without being 100%, with first advice herbacopée. I find this book perfect for beginners like me who know nothing while the explanations are clear and decorated with beautiful pictures. The summary and think of all the beginning and end of the book are very practical and immediately found the information you seek. You will find for each vegetable full of tricks, implementation of advice to optimize the use of your square, a planing sowing, planting, harvesting all with beautiful colors and a pedagogical intention that works. The square is jealous and you'll impress your friends cheaply that took you till then to a tench. The physical quality is also the rendezvous for this book in thick paper, photos and quality police, not sliced sheets sewn glued (rare enough to be underlined) which amply justify the price. You can lay the ground for gardening is resistant.
Two critical because it takes much: -difficile find untreated wood, large area or you can not lie to you, it will privliégier the least yellow wood as possible. The a priori solution is to go directly into a carpentry or raw wood they work and ask. Finally, I think the ideal is to make a square on the ground bounded by oak half-logs. -pleins advice in this book but they are scattered throughout the book, we do not know where we sometimes read such and such advice, so use wisely the summary.
Otherwise the book is simple, well-made, functional and will help you to keep your garden. 5 stars deserved.
