Before buying Nero Platinum 2014 I had inquired of customer service located in Germany to see if this version allowed to view on my PC DVD in AVCHD recorded using software other than Nero

After a lengthy email exchanges, the service was unable to answer my request. Upon serving the answer could only be "YES" or "NO" it was confirmed to me that it was possible that I decided to purchase this software. (Cost approx. 80)

Unfortunately this is not the case !! Conclusion: completely unnecessary expense.
