Have the "plug" unpacked, plugged in, software on my 9 years old
Laptop installed ... everything perfectly.
Have 6 piece run (2x laptops, routers 1x, 1x TV, 2 surveillance cameras).
Now runs about 1/2 year without dropouts quasi continuous operation.
