My Kamelot Collection started when someone declared the lead singer as a successor of Geoff Tate (Queensryche), so purely vocally. And that appealed to me. So I've bought the Kamelot albums, initially with Roy Kahn as a singer and quickly found enthusiasm about this band. And when Silverthorn appeared, I was one of the first owners. It has totally surprised me just how versatile the band writes their songs and what immense amount of instruments and melodies accompanying the delicate sounds again and again perceived. It was the first album of Kamelot, I had to listen successively really few times to get it right. And since then, I love this record! There is hardly any other way, so emotional to illustrate music in progressive rock music or for that matter, Metal, like Kamelot makes. Music is always a matter of taste, and Kamelot has fully met my tastes. Although there some ironed or overproduced to appear smooth. Who needs earthy guitar riffs and groovy bass lines, does not have much joy with Kamelot. But who knows to appreciate this musical peak output of Silverthorn and actually listening to music, so can not just blare way, which should lead this band sometimes to heart.
