This made the UFS924 indiscriminately.
In other words, once a programmed station was recorded and the recording was in store, on another occasion the same transmitter again and not the store was empty.
In this error, no system could be seen - he did it without warning.
I did not know if a recording succeeded or not.
But these were not the only problem:
After the nightly EPG Updates "froze" the UFS 924 very often, was the next day on and took neither the remote control nor the device button commands. Only a power disconnection with a 10 minute wait made the device fit after restarting.
The next error:
If the UFS 924 has built its Internet connection to Youtube and you chose a movie, he crashed and rebooted. That he made any attempt to play a YouTube video. For this error, there was the "old Kathrein Forum" an entry to the company even confirmed, but no solution offered.
This was not acceptable.
The device that I bought was, for me - in spite of great features - Scrap!
So back to the dealer.
The sent it to Kathrein.
The kept it for a whole month!
After putting under operation, the same mistakes were back.
I had hoped that either the Kathrein error fixes, or the device exchanges.
Kathrein has, besides a hard disk replacement, not helped me!
Now I had enough and gave the instrument back completely
I will no longer buy and Kathrein also not recommend, because obviously, has not helped as in my case, the Service.
Now I have a different quality satellite recorder with hard drive.
The works from the first time to flawless and there is no timer crash.
Whether in the brand-new Kathrein UFS I can not say 924 existed a hardware or software error. Therefore, a customer turns to the responsible service service. Mistakes do happen. The warranty or guarantee period should give the customer also safety, not "to stand in the rain" with a broken item. At Kathrein I had not. Too bad. I can not give buy rating, unless you can live with a broken timer, because you do not need him. The "direct recording" always worked.
In the "old Kathrein Forum" there were already two threads with the same problem as mine without Kathrein offered a solution. I hope that after the "Forum relaunch" these entries were not deleted from "certain considerations".
