There are certainly a couple of "total failure" (as the saying goes) on the disc (illuminati, bitch i'm Madonna ???), but that is as always a matter of taste. songs like Ghost Town, Body Shop (the best on the CD), Rebel Heart, Heartbreak City, devil pray, wash all over me, messiah, Joan of Arc are in my opinion the best songs that has Madonna ever recorded! super melodies, beautifully produced, and great singing ... and the lyrics have a statement :-)
and even some pressed away at the beginning of "total failure" are the second or third listen then suddenly not so bad :-) hold not tight for example, although one of my favorite songs, but who definitely was! Inside Out also falls into this category ...
and after I madonna on YouTube in the "Jonathan Ross Show" have seen, I can understand no one left to talk disparagingly about it!
very very great album and a pity that it has not the success that it deserves!
