Appearance:
The chrome finish know on any irregularities and impurities, as is often the case with cheap productions. At the same time makes the whole controller a very strong impression, as one is previously used by the original controllers.
Feel:
Unlike all other original controllers, the surface is not roughened here. At the same time, the housing feels not metallic, but on to plastic. The holding feeling can be compared for example with a PET bottle. The surface is smooth indeed, but also does not slip out of your hands.
Nevertheless, the roughened surface of the standard controller gives a more secure grip, so the chrome variant off worse here in this category.
Technology:
Like the Matt Silver Limited Edition offers these controllers the switchable D-Pad. In "D-pad mode" is this a more direct feel, while providing a more precise control. Nevertheless, the adjusted d-pad is not an optimal solution because it has a slightly spongy still propagated. Here offer other controller a quite more direct feeling of pressure. All other buttons on the other hand offer a very direkteund the two analog sticks and a usual precise control.
Conclusion:
Those who place a high value on the appearance, for this controller is certainly attractive. Nevertheless, this is a matter of taste. The matte-silver Limited Edition offers the same technology + a rechargeable battery pack in combination package for similar price. Due to the somewhat spongy nachwievor D-pads and controllers for this beat-em-up gamer is not the best alternative. For most other types of game it is, however, ideal.
