Tamia (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Long had the fans of Tamia for "You put a move on my heart" and diverse soundtrack songs like "Missing You" with Brandy, Chaka Khan and Gladys Knight for the ghetto-movie "Set it off" on Tamias first album wait. Was released in 1998 "Tamia" finally on Quincy Jones Label "Qwest". Quincy, Tamias discoverer, had left real time. The album it has benefited. Tamia, which has a similar voice-Whitney, a cast of powerful voices ballads and was 90s-typical R & B written on the body. And Tamia knows how rausholt all the best from more medium magnificent material. So the album sounds consistent and is through good listening without fatigue. Ballads like the single "So Into You", "Who do you tell?" and "This time it's love" can Tamia radiate most. However, groovy R & B beats as "Imagination" (1st single) and "Is that you?" (Sounds like an Usher song) can let them become real dancefloor bursters. However Dominate do the ballads. Besides "You put a move on my heart", which is also already appeared on Quincy Jones "Jook Joint" Tamia took on even George Michael's bestseller "Careless Whisper", which was covered by way of fees. The most beautiful song, however, "Rain on me", a dreamy ballad "You put a move on my heart" by Rod Temperton.
