The "automatic cap" is not made of steel but a little cheap looking plastic, as well as the cooling station. This does have a stainless steel veneer, but behind it hides again little wertig seeming plastic.
Therefore, the advertised description "quality stainless steel glass combination" only half the story.
The glass has an overall solid impression, even when there may carafe neck significantly thinner.
Conclusion:
4 stars for design, functionality and well-implemented "keeping cool" effect.
1 star deduction, stainless steel veneer and plastic behind it is not just "high" and the locking mechanism would significantly valent than the existing plastic version with stainless steel.
