No. 5 is still alive!

We have this machine for about 2 years, and the coffee is still hot and tasty from the machine.
To function enough has been written, I do not. I would only point out some things that you should probably know or note.

The WMF does not have to be descaled every 3 to 4 weeks when it operates with filtered water. Apart from the coffee tastes much better if you take soft water. With us a Carbonit- and a Brita filter to be used, we drink this water also held supermarket to buy water. The descaling mode can program one, that's the great thing about this machine. Our old Senseo was not that answered about 1 times per month for descaling. I have the WMF in the 2 years do not have 10 x descaling. The WMF can continue to operate, even if they want to be decalcified.

A good descaling is super important for the longevity of coffee machines. Durgol (which for descaling of espresso machines! Is great), there is a Swiss Nachahmprodukt, which is cheaper. Can I recommend warmest. Thus I again nursed my decrepit Senseo. That was 1 1/2 years old, just before Solltod desired by the manufacturer, the coffee was only lukewarm from the machine.

The scroll wheel is wrong in all WMF 5. Did not bother me, a further indication that the machine is closed or open. I do not know how many reclaims machinery and so were sent back as defective.

Pads should be smoothed out before or during insertion, then it'll work well with the insert, which you should do, admittedly a little more carefully than in the Senseos.
We had in 2 years only once theater with clamping pads because a gross motor teenager had this purely choked wrong in morgentlichen Tran. Since the WMF is then cranky and spits water / coffee next to it and does not want to budge and the thrust shops. Morning course a fiasco! Never came afterwards ago.

Our WMF drips after that did the Senseo also. And much more than the WMF, the amazing "dry" Pads leaves after brewing. We always make a decorative coffee mug underneath which receives also used pads directly. Since saut you even when emptying the Padschublade the kitchen not so.

After 2 years at our WMF the paint not turned away, she looks amazing even good for her "high" age and is compared to its predecessor (Senseo Latte) really easy to clean. Short with a damp microfibre cloth over it and is good. The Senseo always looked "used" and splashed out. Since we have our machines open to use for drying and airing, stand in the Senseo always the lid on (which somehow looked sloppy) in the WMF stands on the drawer, what did not notice.
Small cup of (no, this machine can not have a proper espresso, but cooked "espresso-" delicious coffee dependent on coffee and water quality) should be kept better under the coffee outlet valves, it does not splash like this.

For filling large cups the bottom slot (water collector) can be removed.

I hope that our WMF 5 far from being ripe for the Padma rail sky. Since I as Amazon customer like something read about long-term experience with electrical appliances, I will update my review if our WMF stops working.
