ABBA Still Alive

More than 40 years after "Waterloo", about 32 years after its dissolution or 28 years after publication of the abundant wayward and cope less successful live album ABBA LIVE is now available with ABBA LIVE AT WEMBLEY ARENA for the first time a complete live concert Sweden on two CDs. Well, almost entirely because of the written backing vocalist Tomas Ledin and sung following ROCK ME NOT BAD AT ALL was excised. Nevertheless, many ABBA fans will never ever visited an ABBA concert and with this publication should be really happy.

By written by Agnetha I'M STILL ALIVE there is even a far officially unreleased ABBA song, then, in 1979, the first encore, THE WAY OLD FRIENDS DO was still unpublished, that song made, also live from Wembley Stadium, the conclusion in 1980 of the published album Super Trouper. Also the concert intro Gammal FÄBODPSALM was previously unreleased.

Sound-wise, the whole thing sounds to worlds better than the above-mentioned ABBA LIVE. And ABBA impressively demonstrate that they were quite capable to perform their sometimes quite elaborate studio productions live well, as examples are here only THE NAME OF THE GAME / EAGLE and DANCING QUEEN mentioned.

ABBA LIVE AT WEMBLEY ARENA is the since Boxset THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC (1994, with the ABBA medley UNDELETED) interesting new release of ABBA for me. And one thing is certain, ABBA is also 32 years after the split STILL ALIVE!
