In this double-CD otherwise made, as all songs from Bonnie Tyler's three 80s studio albums "Faster Than The Speed Of Night", "Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire" and "Hide Your Heart" string together arbitrarily. Whether the songs ever singles, let alone hit or "only" music pieces were, no one here has interested. This makes the songs certainly not bad, quite the contrary: These 3 albums were recorded with the two top producers of bombast Rocks: The Meat Loaf producer Jim Steinman, and the Bon Jovi producer Desmond Child and are quite sure Tyler's best albums, since neither the brave Countrypopsachen 70, nor the shallow Bohlen productions of the 90 Bonnie Tyler's power and voice were really fair.
The problem is another: The title "Best of" just suggests a Hitsammlung and there would have made the three 80s albums certainly 6 or 7 songs awareness to belong to a Hitsammlung, but certainly not all 30 songs from the 80s, such as they are completely on it here. So missing a Tyler collection again her hits of the 70s, such as "Lost in France", "It's a Heartache", "Heaven" or "Here am I" and their hits from the 90s for "Bitter Blue" (which here strangely enough the only Representatives after 1988 it is) like "Against the Wind" and "Fools Lullaby".
To name the CD for a wide extent unknown song "Ravishing" is another farce, for this title has never been a single release, let alone a hit. Furthermore, are located on this double CD exclusively rock songs from the years 1983-88 (plus Bitterblue of 1991), while the cover photo idiotically shows a Bonnie Tyler from their soft Countrypopzeit 1977.
This double CD is only recommended to the guy who wants to save their 3 studio albums all the time to buy individually. Here you can find all the songs it completely and cheaper. So if you "only" Bonnie Tyler's rock stage and like neither the Countrypop 70 or Schlagerpop à la Dieter Bohlen 90, which can access here quietly. The quality of the music on this double CD is independent of the lack of awareness of outstanding.
Who really wants a true and complete Best of CD with all Bonnie Tyler hits from the 70s through the 80s to the 90s, which should either resort to The Very Best of Bonnie Tyler, that was created for the German market and also to the local successes oriented, or access to the CD The Best, which is based on the British success of the singer and thus spares under Dieter Bohlen successful only in central and northern Europe '90s.
