The design is beautiful, the knob reminds me of the old record player that I had as a child.
From the bottom of the device looks identical but with my NoName cooking plate that I have used previously.
Advantages of this plate:
- Pretty, blue LED,
- Rotary switch makes operation easy
- Fan runs after turning off shortly after to runterzukühlen the plate.
- Quick (but not faster than other induction plates)
- Easy to clean.
Disadvantages of this plate:
- Liquids in smaller amounts or pots boil already at 60 degrees (was with its predecessor is not the case). I have the old Induktionsplatte also left parties, for example for hot dogs or mulled wine nonstop to 60 or 80 degrees, is hereby definitely not.
- There are only degrees of, any add. Levels (1-10) as the 08/15 models with display
- Defect display and control panel, there is no timer. War, for example, for a 5 minute egg (unattended) or the awesome rice cooking or when using pressure cookers. Now I need a small timepiece additionally
- Do not display error codes, there is no display available (eg if the panel overheated).
- The beeping. In almost every review on here that unnecessary beeping is highlighted negatively. The beep sounds is absolutely identical to my old record, so I'm assuming that the components are the same for just about all disks.
Since you have no timer and can change the temperature only via the rotary switch, the loud beep sound is really unnecessary (except for the visually impaired). It would be nice here a small switch to disable the sound.
General disadvantage of induction plates:
If, enameled pots (Sicomatic or a grill pan for example), the enamel is of course very hot and the induction plate switches off automatically in order to sustain any damage. War with the old board and so I was able to give notice at the new Black Star, as I wanted to do a roast in Sicomatic pot. For such tasks a normal and insensitive hob is still necessary.
