I learn jazz indeed just met and may therefore not draw any comparisons and I can not just write about Scott's talents as a trumpeter, but: already the first track is fascinating how all the pieces it triggers strong emotions, not just positive. Insebsondere Track 1, 3 and 12 appear light on me "disturbing" (the same feeling with me solves D. Bowie's "Neuköln" from) - and yet they are one of my favorite tracks. For fans of T. Bronner or D. Koz Christian Scott's CD is perhaps less suitable, the highlight is for me the jazz / rap mix on Anthem.
