Of concepts in guitar and screaming. Too bad Mr. Empire but unfortunately this record confirms the trend of recent publications that no longer possessed high on the intensity and creativity, such as publications of 10 years ago on Force Inc., Mille Plateaux or DHR how much the music of Alec Empire has lost its creativity and in favor of this idea suggests itself unequivocally, hitherto repressed Starattitüde. That's not to guitar music - on the early works of Atari Teenage Riot, Alec Empire has impressively demonstrated how to work well together guitars with electronic sounds and vocals. The thing is, however, to listen to "Futurist", reminds me of a dramatic statement of the Empire on his album released in 1996, "The Destroyer": "When you reach your peak it's time to die" That should not be so misconstrued literally, but are well interpreted in the direction that it's time to stop for Alec. A pity, a great pity ....
