So that everyone can judge the sound for themselves, I try as often as possible to set a decent video, which should be then necessarily with good headphones or an adequate Hifi viewed / -gehört that can reproduce at least the frequency range of 60Hz-20kHz ,
It is possible that in the review I refer in some places on the video, so read carefully. ;)
Many Thanks!
Technical Specifications
----------------
The Kingone K5, K5 is short, with about 12.5cm x 7.5cm x 6.5cm and 366gr a compact, portable stereo speaker with Bluetooth connectivity and a music power of 2 x 3W RMS.
Operation is via a very well-functioning touch field on top of the unit. With the built-in Li-Ion battery 1.000maH he plays at medium volume up to 6 hours.
Design and packaging
---------------------
A highlight of the K5 is the mere packaging. If the speaker is to be a gift, so saving you a gift box.
The K5 comes in a copper-colored metal box in which he finds precise place. A Micro USB charging cable and a 3.5 mm jack plug plug connector cables are included.
The speaker itself is held in an elegant gray and provides in particular for example on an office desk very elegant.
The housing material is made of durable plastic. The speaker grille is executed circumferentially and underlines the value of K5.
The key illumination of the touch operation is well tuned, so that on the day all buttons and features are clearly visible in the night but dark enough that no one room is the same fully illuminated.
On design, there is nothing to complain about!
Handling
----------
The on / off button is located at the back and the 3.5 mm jack, the TF / MicroSD card slot and the microUSB charging socket. All controls for song back and forth, answering and volume control are a touch panel on the top. Particularly clever here is a circle, with the driving over with your finger in a clockwise direction the speaker can be loud and vice versa quieter. The touch controls work promptly and always perfect.
Only when carrying around, it may happen that the touch button is pressed accidentally.
Acoustically, the adjusted volume is signaled by status tones. Also audible messages in Chinese and English will be issued at power Pairing and Low battery. This feature advertised by the manufacturer can like it or not. I personally find it very amusing. Only when you turn in quiet surroundings you will probably reap curious glances. ;)
The operation itself is kept self-explanatory and easy. Handling I think overall great!
The Sound
---------
An assessment of the sound is the reason already difficult because the feeling is always subjective and everyone has their marked preference. My intention is not different. My preference is reflected in the fact that I rather tend to a "bathtub curve", ie the sound to bring a decent volume in the bass and treble to be clearly reproduced. The centers must not go down and it will not sound when playing the speaker behind a veil standing.
I've got quite high standards, but which can also serve small speakers need.
At this point, I personally like the K5 pretty good. He gives the tested by me auditions clear and full view of its size again. The K5 is tuned fairly neutral and he is already well audible bass from 90Hz again. The low frequencies to about 70 Hz can be even with an equalizer raise, however, the speaker begins then to 80% of the volume to distort, which is due to that it begins to vibrate.
My current test pieces are next to two GEMA and royalty free will, which I use in my videos, even "normal" music.
Although I have currently found more pronounced at Bossa / Jazz my personal reference music. Here I hear at the time very much
"3 na Bossa". This music brings some speakers even without equalizer and often also beyond its borders, as
the engineers have the frequency spectrum used to the full in the recording and the sound is tuned very powerful in the bass range. The K5 masters this very well even at nearly full volume, starts at the end of it to vibrate and move forward.
The K5 is basically matched very clean.
Only idle I realize a minimal noise, but that is no longer perceptible with onset of music.
On the bass monster Bose SoundLink Mini he does not reach, but it plays very clear and virtually anywhere in the room placeable without that the sound is location-dependent.
Due to the close to each other placed Loudspeakerchassis the stereo effect is not very pronounced. This must be clear to everyone before buying.
I hear the speakers very much, especially in the office. He plays quietly as loud and has very good reserves if there is sometimes go a little more in the direction of party music. ;)
Conclusion
-----
Prefer to have a "whistle", certainly enough for a loudspeaker 30 and if it should be high-end absolutely, then loose 150 and slightly more mature. Therefore, I compare these speakers with any other.
However, in this class is one of the speakers who do everything right and that is not self-evident!
The K5 is priced located in the central region. Sonically it is good to very good and makes no mistake. In the presentation, in the design and processing, he even plays in the high-end class.
Sonically very nice and promised too much even from the manufacturer, I can recommend this speaker.
In total there are 5 stars from me!
