After his hot performances at the 3rd Ruff Ryders sampler I had high expectations for Petey's debut. I regret to say that the first entry in his diary has some spelling mistakes. Of course Petey can with the prodzuierten Timbaland "Petey Pablo", "Raise Up" + Remix, "I" and "I Told Y'all" have some South anthems that's it but almost. Most of the other tracks usually act out uninspired and hell-bent on producing, making them an above-average average. "Fun room" and "La Di Da Da Da" are reasonably successful party tracks, which are indeed very good, but can not keep the class of the aforementioned far. With "919", "Diary Of A Sinner" and "Fool for Love" PP then shows yet again that he knows his stuff and also can produce quieter songs, even if you have to say that the harder stuff better suits his rap style , But the rest is really nothing special. Songs like "Live Debaco", "Truth About Me" and "Do Dat" you can listen to, but not knock your socks off. Lyrically I'm even a little surpised that I've pure mindless party Mucke expected. But Petey taught me with his partly deeperen tracks better. Totaly a very good South / party album that now is not necessarily the makings of a classic, has yet to convince white.
