With On my Own Queensberry have at least managed to bring out a second album, which also includes two successful singles. The young ladies have evolved vocally and stylistically. British Retro Soul from debut they have left behind, as well as the related checkered costumes. Unfortunately, they have thus rejected what they did individually. This in contrast to the debut almost cover loose repertoire seems a bit disjointed and many faster numbers interchangeably. Even the background music has lost its claim. Stylistically, the girls are based on the American sound. There may be elements of like-minded people like Sugababes, No Angels, Monrose (to their embryonic occupation Leo once belonged) and certainly also recognize Alicia Keys. The best moments are the two singles Too Young and Hello, and the title song, which is linked with his bluesy character and Hammond organ to the stylistics of the debut. In fact, however Scandalous comes from the Popstars-time. For surprise of the crazy end of the album, which originally jointly with Too Young to appear on the special edition of their debut makes. On On my Own lacks individuality, unity and concept. Hopefully the sympathetic beauties soon discover a new direction. The song The Song, which the Chipmunks 2 contributed to the soundtrack of Alvin & is likely to be the way forward.
