Despite great anticipation level after the first trial hearing fixed already largely that the projector has to go back. But I still use it for a few days. The Sound (sound) could not convince me and also a true surround feeling did not come on. From Surround I had also hoped for miracles. The projector and the listening position having to be as favorable as possible in the room - then this might work. For me this is not the case.
From the sound but I had hoped for more. To preview, I had, for example Surround mixes of Genesis "A Trick of the Tail" and some of Faithless. As I said, surround was not really even typical stereo effects were not localized for me. It is, however, "in the middle". The music has quickly annoyed and just when Faithless me dynamics was missing. More I can not describe, unfortunately.
The calibration I have done several times. At the sound itself that changes but not much. The individual sound programs help some. Music sounded actually a little better in the corresponding programs.
If you want the projector to improve the TV sound, then you can make sure. Language is well understood and the subwoofer does his job well. For the price, but the best results in mind when the listening position may set up so that surround works. So definitely hear sample!
The sub can also connect wired and disable the radio. The necessary cables (two (!) Plus electricity) are included. HDMI / ARC and volume control via TV remote control have to work on my two year old Samsung TV. Also music from your phone via Bluetooth went smoothly. And the IR distribution works if you read the Quick Start Guide and followed.
Moreover, the device looks very valuable and would fit well in front of my TV ;-(
