The cores are like (also quite at the bottom of blackbirds) adopted by Meisen. A big drawback they have, however: Even in very large lumen feeders they remain quick to stick together and not to slip. At my high bird intrusion I have several times a day "after-vibration", so that the cores slide to where the birds to get at them. I use it therefore only as a supplement to other feeds.
