The "shot of steam":
When Bialetti Brikka one must first times cooking espresso in the pot and discard. The very first test I filled minimal too much water it a slightly touched the valve - and then shot through the coffee practical hole in the lid into the air space above my stove.

It smelled meantime excellent, better than my conventional WMF stainless steel espresso maker.
