I can express in words the difference hardly that happens otherwise rarely to me. Somehow tastes Brikka version raw, unfinished, failed.
The "shot of steam":
When Bialetti Brikka one must first times cooking espresso in the pot and discard. The very first test I filled minimal too much water it a slightly touched the valve - and then shot through the coffee practical hole in the lid into the air space above my stove.
Although all pouring too much water, the so-called sound inevitable. 'Steam burst' disturbing. Unsuspecting visitors should warn or leading to the terrace. But the transition to the terrace bans actually, see instructions:
"After about two to three minutes takes some coffee and shortly thereafter is heard Brikkas typical of steam. Within 3 4 seconds the Cremehäubchen forms. Take Brikka immediately from the heat and pour the espresso in the espresso cups (...) Once the coffee has leaked, let Brikka no way on the fire: Because otherwise might disappear and the Cremehäubchen overcook the Espresso in the essay ".
One should take a flash from the heat the pot so that does not fit into my workflow.
Crema sighting:
It smelled meantime excellent, better than my conventional WMF stainless steel espresso maker.
The Crema I did not care, but I can report that, unlike the WMF stove was clearly Crema. After a few seconds in the cup she had dematerialized to 50 percent, but not completely.
With this machine, I'm not a friend, and I can return it no longer.
