Not your typical Latino music!

Well, somehow Shakira has succeeded with this album a real surprise, because although the first single "La Tortura" with Arkkordeon, Trommelrhytmus and sexy vocals much like typical Latino sounds Summer Music, is "Fijacion Oral" not so trimmed to mainstream as its predecessor "Laundry Service". While the songs on their disposal "Laundry Service" over POPable melodies that were quickly catchy, this album is not as fast in his ear. However, after repeated listening to "Fijacion Oral" turns out to be little musical gem. Now the songs ...
"EN TUS PUPILAS" begins with breathy French prose, which then merges into a lovingly gesäuselte hymn to Shakira's boyfriend, whose refrain, despite a lack of knowledge of Spanish, due to its great melody immediately immediately hang with me remained. (9/10)
"La Pared" begins with an intro of electronic beats, the first verse begins quietly, but the chorus is added driving drums. In the acoustic version Shakira is accompanied only by a piano and her voice is even more effective. (9/10)
"LA TORTURA" probably already knows everyone on the radio. The Shaketon Remix in Dancehall Still with strong beat (sounds a bit like Sean Paul), but invites definitely more to dance than the Original Mix. (10/10)
"PARA Obtener UN SI" has surprised me the most. Robbie Williams says hello because here Shakira has a song created entirely in the style of swing, including orchestras, and has interpreted the whole thing vocally accordingly. Respect! (8/10)
"DIA SPECIAL", the only song that Shakira has not texted itself is rather slow, although guitar-heavy, song. Do you really have to hear more before it starts to act. (7/10)
"ESCONDITE INGLES" is the only real rock song. With verzerten guitars and keyboards of style somewhat reminiscent of The Cure. However, I like it. Songs from all the least because while the verses still have a very nice, quiet melody, Shakira turns the chorus on strange and defiantly singing with distorted voice (5/10)
"NO" is also a very nice ballad in which the rule "less is more" comes into play. To (initial) sparse musical accompaniment, mainly an acoustic guitar, Shakira sings as always very gefühllvoll and increases during the songs more and more. Again, the more you listen the song, the better it is. (9/10)
"LAS DE LA INTUITION" reminds with its disco-like beat a bit of "Ready for the Good Times". Rather quiet verses and the chorus is turned. Good melody remains rather quickly hang (9/10).
"DIA de Enero" has a happy tune and Shakira is accompanied mainly by the guitar and Timpani. Cute, short ballad, but not necessarily very exciting (7/10). When "LO IMPRESCENDIBLE" Shakira has worked a lot with electronic sounds. A heavily inspired by Depeche Mode Intro (with a few breathy in German lines) and a bridge alternate with a soulful, Shakira typical melody in the chorus. (8/10).
In my opinion, we can grow this album just for Shakira's best or worst work; In between, there is not a true.
