Like many novels of C. Jacq, this one, like his previous two volumes, is well written. It reads easily, and embarked from the first lines in a fascinating story. Impatiently expected, the publication of the next volume. Easy, moreover resume play, because every new book was first a reminder of the history. Practice good !!! if all this is not of great literature, it has the merit to distract us more than pleasantly, and I never miss a C. Jacq.! Over time, and novels, we finally learn and remember a thing piles on Pharaonic Egypt, the way people lived, the manners of the time, the lifestyle, leaders etc ... . all this makes us a nice history lesson, even if we know that it is fictionalized !!!
