The original band name you've ever clearly ahead: Vierkanttretlager is a young quartet from Husum, which is then submitted even one of the best German-language albums of that year. Indie pop, Fehlfarben radio and guitar rock, much punk energy, the flippant tone of singer Max Richard Leßmann and fresh, laconic texts it all adds to the natural attacks (sub sheep Records / Alive) together so congenially that critics swarmed by a mixture of Tocotronic and Element Of Crime. Songs such as photo album or give your life does not make sense, it could actually get in touch with classics of the two German flagship bands.
Currently, the Schleswig-Holstein on a larger fall tour and celebrating her surprising breakthrough with an additional Media: The Shanty Choir EP includes five songs their own and cover versions (including the wonderful end I always think only of yourself from said Element Of Crime) as gorgeous swaying sea shanties, proper style with men's choir and squeezebox.
