The Triax C-150 I bought to finally have a cable box for my own distinct TV me. The C-150 from me gets unfortunately only 3 out of 5 stars.
Positives:
+ Low price (about 106 euros)
+ Internet capability HbbTV and SmartTV
+ USB
+ Consistently with all CI cards
+ Multifunctional DLNA
+ With the fee-based PVR update succeed good shots
The picture is sharp and the sound is good. The HDMI connection is running perfectly.
Unfortunately, there are a number of reasons wahrs me. force for returning:
- HbbTV and SmartTV are very slow and can not always be properly operate and play.
- EPG is clear, however, you always have to upgrade to en channel itself go.
- The CI + module spring unfortunately when switching out sometimes. Thus, there are delays that would not necessarily be.
- For USB Recording (PVR) must be made only pay for an update of 20 Euro. (Why not in the price in terms?) The support to which one must contact is generally friendly and reliable (at least when it comes to money.)
- The recording format is unusual and play only on the receiver itself. From ".rec.nav" files even I have never heard an inveterate user. Play is not possible with gänigen Player on your PC. A longer search did not return any results, neither to convert nor for easy playback.
For customers who want a multifunctional device that is right here. For temporary recordings and timeshift, the device is sufficient and is well equipped with Internet capability.
However, those who cares to, to operate the unit in conjunction with a PC or other filing options, is on the unit have no joy. Most other manufacturers save your recordings in eg MPEG formats as Ts, which is much more useful.
I'm going to buy another device. But everyone should not weigh himself what he needs it and what for.
