How to do it, you do it wrong! The shouting and nagging is great - Mumford & Sons have sold their souls with Wilder Mind and sounds like Coldplay 2.0! But what would have been the reaction if they had a Babel 2.0 released with as much Banjo? Then they would be described as boring and with little development potential. I had the pleasure of enjoying Wilder Mind already the secret pre-listening in Berlin Magnet Club. My first reaction was that I everything well, though was different - but, unfortunately, little catchy. Now that I have placed the plate for the first time, I realized that the latter is not true. I came many songs at once again familiar. Especially stayed in the ear were me "Monster", "Tompkins Square Park" and "Snake Eyes" And let's be honest: Are not most of the panels the best that do not go immediately to the ears? It's much better every time you hear always discovering new subtleties and trifles, as if a CD from the outset crystal clear and offers no surprises. I find it refreshing varied and am glad that they have once dared something else, as much as I love the first two albums. All the better the whole then Live will be in the forest stage when old and new favorite songs are mixed together and a great whole arises. Your soul have Mumford & Sons with this CD by no means sold - on the contrary: It can be seen quite accurately their handwriting and that's what makes good music. To all critics: Just listen the first two albums and enjoys this or listen to it in "Boy & Bear" - this is a very good band that is definitely still unknown in Germany.
