..and that's not even big meant negatively. Starcraft 1 has then captivated me for a long time, even though I never was one of those, the other's units fought in BattleNet within 10 minutes around the ears. The story had it that time succeeded in somehow and that is even now with Starcraft 2. So it's not really surprising when you today as far as possible the same units, the same building and the same hero meets or does it? If I'm honest, I'm a bit disappointed, but it is rather the sum of little things that bother me. Let's start with my favorite subject: the graphics. When I had installed for fun on an old computer Starcraft 1 for comparison, you could already see differences. The textures now look more beautiful. Yes ... and that's about it. The units and buildings to a significant extent still made like 12 years ago. A co-worker was impressed by the animated Charpotraits. When I told him that it gave in the first part, he asked me what should be new in the game since. Well somehow I came in Erklärungsnot and therefore mentioned the Esportstauglichkeit. I know that many will not like it, but it happens to be my opinion that I had been released from Diablo 2. The graph is for me one of the decisive criteria along with gameplay, story, and innovation. The graphics here is not really exhilarating, and a 6-year-old game looks because even at times better. Yes certainly has done anything compared to part 1, but whether 4 or 12 years of development and 10 or 100 million US dollars have been invested, you see it not at least at the graph. You can not always legitimize everything with very old computers. Somewhere there is sometimes a lower limit. This Space Cowboy style of Raynor: I like Western or Country music, honestly. But this fits in a space battle adventure? I found something similar at the time when "Z" funny, but somehow that is sometimes boring. Therefore, I think that's at least not positive. The pathfinding of units has not improved a bit compared to its predecessor. Even today remain units depend somewhere or they dissolve in a crowd and go anywhere else along. BattleNet 2.0: To all of DRM issues I expressed both to Anno 1701 Anno 1404, settlers 7, Spellforce 2 and certainly some other games my opinion and I do so here. Who still enters in to Facebook, is your own fault. Just as the deal with the data, you have to be already a masochist to allow the glass User. For crying out loud, it just wants to play and do business. I say it not like, but once I must be grateful for the community that has been running against these real name requirement in forums Blizzard storm. It has the issue at least a little weakened. Yet there remains a stale aftertaste. I tap into that is absolutely no benefits. Friends lists have in fact already too BattleNet 1 times works namely games across (Diablo 2 Starcraft 1). Yet it should be mentioned the splitting of the campaign as a last resort. It's not like that to me not only now noticed. It was already long known. But just as long as I was against this approach, I can dismiss with a shake of his head. One thus gets a full game for 3x the full price. Sure these are then also quite a lot of missions that will come together at the end. But other games had a mountain of issues that were not much shorter than the 30-minute missions here in Starcraft 2. Although I do not mind paying for a good, graphically sophisticated and innovative game a bit more, but not to the to triple the price. Therefore, I stay well in Starcraft 2 (1/3) and save my dear the money for other good games. Of course I also liked a lot, but that's been described often. Therefore, only in brief: Arsenal (units / building improvements), mercenaries, adjustable difficulty levels from Easy to Brutal (although since some say the was too easy ... * schulterzuck * enough for me "hard" ;-)) and so Little things like a mini-game. In these things one has been really hard. Too bad that one has been in the points criticized by me less trouble. The game is good, but not very good. Because of my criticisms I can not forgive mer than 3 stars.
