67 years - and still going strong! Once again, Paul McCartney has presented a live album that the hearts of all Beatles fans can warm up. This time it is a live recording of his current upbeat "Good Evening" tour, recorded at Citi Field in New York - the successor of berühmtebn Stadium Shea Stadium where The Beatles gave in 1965 the first major open-air concert in rock history have. And of course Paul revels extensively in memories of the good old days and spoil the fans with no less than 21 masterpieces from the company Lennon-McCartney. Certainly, many of these pieces live CDs are already several times at Paul's earlier published, but - hand on heart: Can we imagine a McCartney concert without "Hey Jew", "Let It Be" and "Yestersay"? Hardly likely. Moreover Macca also provides some tracks that he has never or no longer performed live since his Beatles-era, including "Day Tripper," "I'm Down" and - lo and behold: "A Day in the Life" - wonderful! As usual, the program accumulates Paulchen with titles of his recent solo CD on (among other things "Dance Tonight", "Only Mama Knows") and the typical, in his view, probably indispensable Wings hits. Why Macca, who is the way, accompanied by an excellent band, still plenty of hackneyed "Jet" and "Let Me Roll It" is in the program, remains his secret. But so be it. Overall, the album is very solid and just what you would expect from Paul McCartney. On the positive side, that Paulchen with 67 still vocally fit and sings in the original keys. Respect! The album contains in addition to two CDs and a DVD with the New York concert film, and who had not been lucky enough to attend one of the concerts of his "Good Evening, Germany" tour, is well served here.
