It had been several months since I endured a chair with casters or rolling painstakingly rubbed on a smooth floor. The chair position was never optimal with respect to my office but I accommodais somehow seen efforts to produce for the move. And I decided there a few days to solve this problem before my back is manifested too harshly. So I carried my little survey. My chair was originally equipped with plastic wheels 11mm / 5cm with automatic brake (when no one is sitting on the chair) and cover higher. I first selected castors for hard floors (with the slightly flexible coating around the wheel that allows a better grip and therefore favors the rolling year). Then I decreed that the brake was more an annoyance than anything else, then I wondered about the advisability of replacing my wheels of 50mm diameter by a slightly larger diameter. Given that the top stop of my chair was almost too low, it augured a gain of a few mm in height. So I ordered these castors without brake and no cache of 11mm (axis) by 65mm (diameter of the wheel) after reading the greater good. I have installed in place of the old without any difficulty then I tested. After a few days of use, I found that the wheelchair rolls even if the movements that cause pivoting wheel are obviously less fluid than those that require only simple bearings (but hey, this is linked to concept of the chair). I also think that no brake is a real plus to the extent it is much easier to move the empty chair without that we have the feeling that escapes us (even when it is necessary to push the move especially since it is not very light). The top diameter is resulting in some very significant enhancement and I think it also improves the movement of the chair. That, I therefore declare these rollers utility because I think they can avoid back problems on a long term and much annoyance at the same time. Thank you to all who made me want to order these wheels and avoid others too. And to conclude, I think that coating these casters should simply be integrated on all wheels as it is difficult for me to understand why I bought an office chair with castors 150 did not roll ...
