Revolver, nothing but the title is evocative. It is no longer Rubber Soul, it is not yet Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, is in my opinion the album where the Beatles appear most as a group rather than as 4 artists combining their solo compositions, as on the end. Although Lennon / McCartney are the most prolific (they surely more experience), note 3 Harrison compositions, including Taxman for the lyrics and the other 2 for melody and musical style. We can also mention the famous interpretation of Ringo on Yellow submarine. What I like about this album is precisely the homogeneity of the musical quality of all the pieces, and the topics, although John may have a little "pipotés" to "And your bird can sing ". Anyway, listen to the album, and then try to tell which of 14 titles is the best ... not easy!
