One of the best 8

This title is part of the long list of thrillers written by John Failler. His favorite heroine, Lieutenant Mary Lester, is found this time to investigate the Ile Tudy, the murder of an old lady to say the least surprising ... The plot is engrossing and the small Breton seaside city so well described we believe that the (missing only the sea air and the cry of gulls that one really believes in holidays). Only the ending is a bit disappointing, but it did not really spoil the pleasure of reading.
