On 24/11/2010 I attended the concert of emerging young and video game pianist Benyamin Nuss. Besides the poor acoustics in the Chamber Music Hall Berlin, especially the pleasant low-key, even timid nature of Mr. Nuss struck me positively. The ideal son, as I thought. Goods accordingly some Jungian Ladies Asian or half-Asian, but not Asian nature present. The new Elvis the Modern Age would like to say, at least in Germany ... No, I know the music already from years of Final Fantasy escapades and diverse "Piano Collections". I must say that I have a lot of issues ignored inzischen pretty, even if they are very Eini consistently still. In this album appeared with different arrangers. The one who has best arranged for my taste is, Jonne Valtonen, the so hardworking, creative and playful mainly acted already at the whole "Symphonic Tales" and could abgewinnen the known issues something new, fresh. These titles are all from "Blue Dragon" and have titles such as: "Main Theme", "waterside", "My Tears and the Sky" and "Release the Seal". Without predominantly large, load-bearing threads stand out and these were most likely for me to pass as rational New Age Classic because they just barely sound like video game music! Kudos, Jonne Valtonen! These titles plus the interpretation of "Liberi Fatali" save this album for me and highlight it pleasant. The rest is known, heard, nice, but not outstanding arranged. We need more than the piano arts of Mr. Nuss us not entertain, it can play! And in principle, the German Grammophon can look forward to increased revenues and again, because German New Age videogame music superstars are scarce. There they do not actually. Because a Mr. Nuss willing to become a star, but rather put his music in the foreground. I hope that he will show in his future career more experimentation, even with his own compositions. But so far so good. Very good, Mr. Nut! Keep it up!
